The Basics

I-Love-Disney.com's TopSites is ranked by your sites votes in to the list! These votes a determine your rank on the list. The TopSites is reset on the First of every month.

Before Joining:

1. You must have a Disney themed website. It must be live and have content. No under constructions sites will be approved.
2. In addition your site MUST be child safe. NO adult material what so ever! This is very important!! :o)
3. All sites/updates are subject to my approval. I do reserve the right not to accept your site for any reason or to remove your site is I feel it is necessary. With or without notice :o)

Joining:

To join: Please fill out the form HERE. Please make sure to fill out the information completely.

Reciprocal URL: This is the EXACT page where I can find the vote link or banner you have (or will) place on your site.
Example URL http://www.yoursite.com/votepage.html

Your Banner: your sites banner MUST be EXACTLY 468 x 60 to be used. The script does check to make sure! Using your banner doesn't require remote linking! If you have trouble getting your banner accepted by the script please sign up without a banner and add it after the sign up process is completed.

Category: Please select the Category that best describes your site. Please note I may substitute a different category if I feel your site fits better in another category.

After Joining:

Please be sure to place your vote banner up as soon as possible and please keep it up. Sites found without vote banners for more than two weeks or inactive for two months will be removed with or with out warning. Your site needs at least one vote EVERY month before it will show up on the list so it is in your best interest to put the banner up. Vote banners must be uploaded to YOUR server so make sure to take a copy with you!

• Q. I am having a problem with signing up. My banner is the right size but I can't get the TopSites to accept it……
• A. First check to make sure you are correctly putting the width and heigth in the boxes. If it still does not accept the banner please complete the sign up process by leaving the banner field empty. You can add the banner afterwards a lot easier. But if you still have problems please send me the URL to your banner (please DO NOT attach the banner to the email to me) and I will get it set up for you.
• Q. My site isn't showing up?
• A. Your site needs at least one vote EVERY month before it will show up on the list. Please click your vote banner and wait for the topsite to RERANK. Reranks take at least 30 minutes
• Q. Can I make my own vote banner?
• A. Yes!! You may make and use and even donate Vote banners for others to use!!
• Q. I have notice the sites are not in the correct order based on "in votes totals".
• A. Your place on the list is determined by your daily average of "votes in" not by just solely on "votes in". I think this gives everyone more a evened chance to move up on the list(even if you are just joining!!). Your votes must keep coming in on a daily basis to move up or stay at your current ranking :o)

• Q. Oh Bother. The vote banner is not showing up on my site?
• A. Please make sure you save and upload the vote banner to YOUR server. Then if you place the image in another folder than the page your place the code on you will need to change the IMG tag to reflect the images location. If you need any help with this PLEASE feel free to email me. Vote banners can be picked up HERE. Please be sure to select the correct option in the drop down box!!
• Q. My site doesn't allow remote loading of images. Can I still use my own banner?
• A. Yes! No remote linking is necessary. Your banner will be hosted by I-Love-Disney.com. But please NEVER link to this banner for any other purpose. It is ONLY for THIS TopSites. Linking to this banner will get your site removed from the TopSites!
• Q. I need to update my sites URL or banner or other site info… How do I do that?
• A. Please visit our login page and fill-in your username and password and select "Edit Your Site Info" in the drop down box. If you have forgotten see below.
• Q. What is the vote code again?
• A. After completion of the sign up process and being approved you will be able to login in and get your vote code again. The login page is HERE. Please be sure to select the "Display Banners and Link Syntax" option in the drop down box.
• Q. Do you have a more detailed set of stats for my site?
• A. Yes, every member's site has a stats page that you can visit and see how your site is doing compared to how it has done in the past. The login page is HERE. Please be sure to select the "Display Your Site Stats" option in the drop down box.
• Q. I forgot my username and/or password.
• A. No problem, please visit HERE and enter your email address used at sign up.
• Q. I am in other site competitions to and I Vote Exchange (VE) with others is this ok?
• A. Yes, vote exchanging is fine (but not required). Many do VE. I have I the past too. And even still do for a few friends. But, of coarse, you still need to have a vote banner/link placed on your site at all times :o)
• Q. What is the NON voting URL to the topsites?
• A. The direct URL to the topsites http://topsite.i-love-disney.com
• Q. I don't think my site is getting the votes it should.
• A. As long as you are using the vote code provided for you the odds are that you are receiving your votes. But please be aware you are only allowed ONE vote for each computer in 24 hours. Second, third, ect clicks from the same computer will not be counted. In addition you MUST confirm your vote on the "Gateway" page before it is counted. Votes show up after "Reranks which occur approx. every 30 minutes
• Q.My site used to be on the topsite...but now it's gone... was I deleted?
• A. Odds are no LOL... First all sites will need ONE vote EVERY month in order to appear on the list. If it is near the first of the month Click your vote banner and vote...then see if your site is there. If not then wait an hour after voting and check again. If your site is note there then please feel free to contact me. PLease note if your site has been inactive (no votes at all) for three or more months your site may have been deleted. If this is the case you will need to sign up again.If you need to get your vote code again. The login page is HERE. Please be sure to select the "Display Banners and Link Syntax" option in the drop down box.
